  • Looking at deeper meanings and examining the reasons why one performs these acts
  • Connecting each pillar to one's daily life
  • Learning intricate details about each topic

  • Iman:
  • An in-depth look at the articles of faith in Islam
  • Making the connection between articles of faith and the 5 pillars of Islam
  • Personalizing the belief system within the heart of the individual
  • Increasing the level of iman in the heart by examining stories of Islamic heroes

  • Ihsan:
  • The process of perfecting our character and actions
  • Learning core human morals and manners
  • Learning our personal, familiar, and social obligations

Part 2: The Life of the Messenger of Allah (s)

    Sira:
  • Fostering and nurturing true love for the Messenger of Allah (s)
  • Studying the life of Prophet Muhammad (s) from birth until death
  • Learning about his interactions with people (s), his adab with people (s), and the way he lived his life (s)
  • Learning all of this in order to be like him (s)

  • Shamail of Prophet Muhammad (s)
  • Studying the Prophetic characteristics
  • Learning how he lived his life (s)
  • Learning about he (s) carried himself on a day to day basis
  • Studying his habits, what he liked to do, and other characteristics about his life in order for us to love him more (s)

Part 3: Khulafa ar-Rashidun

  • Develop an understanding of Islamic history by examining the lives of the Khulafa ArRashidun
  • Studying the lives of men who were of the closest to the Messenger of Allah (s)
  • Studying their habits, wisdom, and closeness the Messenger of Allah (s)
  • Learning from their character and lives

Part 4: Teachings from the Holy Quran

  • Learning moral and ethical values from the Holy Quran
  • Studying and understanding the different roles the individual has
  • Understanding role as an individual, as a family member, and as a member of the human race
  • Understanding role at both the local and global levels
  • Learning moral and ethical principles from the Islamic teaching

Part 5: Prophetic Duas

  • Learning the duas of Prophet Muhammad (s)
  • Implementing these duas at the correct time
  • Memorizing the adhkar of the morning and evening
  • Trying the emulate the Messenger of Allah (s) in action and words
